Hola Pola A rebranding journey that feels like a long trip to a warm country? We couldn't say no to that. The atypical travel agency, Hola Pola, reached out to us to give their brand that little extra boost. On their travel wishlist? A premium brand image and a website that sparks a sense of adventure. Challenge accepted.

Where is the journey heading?

Hola Pola is not your typical travel agency, something entrepreneurs Tom and Stéphanie were eager to emphasize. For almost 20 years, this duo - along with an enthusiastic group of local guides - has been offering adventurous group trips for families (De Prince van Hola Pola) and adults (De Baron van Hola Pola). It was something they themselves missed when their sons Kamiel, Oscar, and Jef were young. What began as a search for a unique discovery holiday turned into a lifelong passion for authentic, personal travel. A total experience, which needed to be reflected in their brand identity.

A tailor-made adventurous makeover

With that shortlist in hand, we dived into the captivating Hola Pola world. The existing names and icons remained, but were given an adventurous upgrade with an expanded color palette. We added dark red, ecru, and beige to symbolize the earthy character of the continents. And because the Prince and the Baron are iconic figures within the brand, we let the Prince swing playfully in a lively animation, with a nod to the character 'The Little Prince.'

Personality also had to be central in the updated visual identity. Because traveling with Hola Pola is more than just an online booking, it’s an experience that begins with the very first interaction. That initial "click" was essential, even on the website. So, we created an inspiration platform focused on experiences, with plenty of space for mood images, personal stories, and practical tools. Our favorite? The interactive world map. With just a few clicks, an appealing travel offer comes to life. A handy tool that not only boosts the user experience but also makes visitors (day)dream.

Finally, the offline brand experience got an upgrade too: tour leaders received custom t-shirts and luggage tags, and practical brochures were designed - all in the adventurous visual identity. And we were more than happy to bring out the motto "Hola Pola" for this!
