Korf In Bruges’ most welcoming neighbourhood spot, you step inside for a good drink, a great concert, or simply a chat. At the bar, around the table, or stretched out on the couch. Sit wherever you like. The door is open and the threshold is low. Now in a new look, but with the same familiar atmosphere.

Warm bar

Korf is the vibrant neighbourhood hub in Bruges. It is part of a broader network around the BieKorf site, dedicated to bringing city dwellers together in a warm and welcoming way. To open the doors to even more people, Korf was looking for a strong baseline and a recognisable visual identity. A way to translate their warm heart into words and images.

We created a dynamic baseline: Warm bar, open house. Because nothing at Korf exists without the bar, the beating heart of the place. But also open, because as a community space, Korf is more than just a café. It is a stage, an exhibition space, a reading room, a party venue or a place of quiet. Warm bar, open house. But just as easily: open conversation, open stage, open neighbourhood or open Bruges.

From there, we built a clear brand identity, with a strong positioning and concrete values. Today, both inside and outside the neighbourhood house, everyone understands what Korf stands for: authentic, playful, rooted in the neighbourhood and above all warm. With practical copy for the website, newsletters, flyers and window stickers.

The result? No more confusion about what Korf is, only clear and welcoming language.



An open house in the streetscape

The biggest challenge was visibility. The building was tucked away between narrow Bruges streets. So we brought the story outside with an inviting logo, a playful colour palette and distinctive interior elements.

The team painted the space in the new colours. A neon sign was hung behind the bar. Beautiful folders found a permanent place on the wall. And the windows were fully wrapped.

Walking past Korf without noticing it is now impossible.

Korf says hello!

How do you draw extra attention? By saying hello as warmly as the team would, but this time at the door, at the bar, on the street and far beyond. For each of those hellos, we created something expressive: stickers, deck chairs and a sidewalk sign. But also menus, flyers, a façade sign and pins. A complete Korf universe, inside and outside.

Korf, digitally extended

On the new website, visitors can now fully discover Korf’s story. We brought that story together in language, visuals and design. For social media, we developed templates and photography as a strong foundation. This way, the style remains a consistent thread, even as Korf continues to build on it independently.
